juunote vs. Microsoft Copilot in Teams — for every conversation, not just Teams.
Microsoft summarises Teams meetings with Intelligent Recap (Teams Premium) and Copilot — in the Microsoft cloud and with a licence per user. juunote works with Teams, Zoom, Webex and phone calls on your computer, transcribes locally and runs with your Microsoft 365 account.

The key differences
- Not just TeamsMicrosoft’s summaries are generally available only for Teams meetings. juunote also takes notes for Zoom, Webex and phone calls on your computer.
- Local instead of a cloud transcriptFor Intelligent Recap, Teams has to transcribe; the recording and transcript are then kept in OneDrive or SharePoint. juunote transcribes on your computer and never stores the audio.
- CostTeams Premium costs €8.70 and Copilot Business €18.20 per user and month on top of the Microsoft 365 licence, with an annual subscription. juunote costs €7 or €12 excl. VAT, billed monthly.
- Made for Microsoft 365juunote signs in with your company’s Microsoft account, shows your appointments and sends tasks to Microsoft To Do — it complements Microsoft 365 rather than replacing it.
When to choose Microsoft Copilot
- Your team talks almost exclusively in Teams, and Copilot is licensed anyway.
- You want to manage recordings centrally in Microsoft 365.
- Copilot should also draw on emails, documents and chats.
When to choose juunote
- Besides Teams, you also use Zoom or Webex, or spend a lot of time on the phone.
- Audio and transcript should stay on the device.
- You want minutes based on your own template — without a Copilot licence for everyone.
