About us

Built by people who take minutes every day.

juunote comes from the helpdesk of juunit GmbH, an IT service provider from Eschborn near Frankfurt. We built it for ourselves because no notetaker talked to our tools — and now we’re sharing it.

Why juunote exists

Born out of our own need.

  1. Good minutes, stuck on an island

We tried the usual transcription tools. The minutes were good — they just ended up where nobody keeps working. A ticket in TANSS, a task in To Do, a note about a call from the phone system: all of that stayed manual work. For an IT service provider that lives on clean documentation, that wasn’t enough.

  2. So we built it ourselves

juunote listens in meetings, on the phone and in person, transcribes on your own computer and writes the minutes straight into the systems our technical team works with anyway. Our documentation has reached a new level.

  3. From the helpdesk to management

Soon it wasn’t just the technical team who wanted more. Management, sales and team leads also wanted minutes from meetings, video calls and phone calls processed or shared automatically. Today there is hardly a tool at juunit without an interface to juunote.

  4. And now for everyone

Our customers kept asking the same question: “Can we have that too?” That’s why juunote has been available to every company since autumn 2026. Today you sign in with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace — the goal is to make juunote available to everyone who wants to document their conversations better.

* juunit GmbH’s own calculation: the share of its technical team’s working time that, before juunote, went into creating tickets, recording billable work and documentation. As of October 2026.

What drives us

Three principles we build juunote by.

Interfaces, not islands

Minutes are only finished when they arrive where the work continues: in the ticket, the task, the project.

Your audio stays with you

Transcription runs on your computer and the recording is deleted afterwards. No bot in the meeting, no recording in someone else’s cloud.

Proven in a helpdesk

Every feature has to prove itself with us first — with 40 people who have conversations every day — before it reaches you.

Questions

In short.

Who is behind juunote?

juunote is developed by juunit GmbH, an IT service provider with around 40 employees based in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. juunit has been looking after the IT of small and mid-sized companies since 2000.

Since when has juunote existed?

Since September 2026: first in our own helpdesk, and since the end of September 2026 as version 1.0 for every company.

Why does an IT service provider build its own software?

Because the usual notetakers write good minutes but don’t talk to the tools we work with — such as TANSS or the phone system. juunote was created to close exactly that gap.

Who is juunote for?

For companies that have many conversations and need clean documentation: IT service providers, law and tax firms, property management, sales, construction and more. You sign in with your company account on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.

What happens to my conversations?

The audio is transcribed on your computer and deleted afterwards. Only text goes to juunit’s AI gateway to write the minutes. The details are on the Security page and in the privacy notice.
