Frequently asked questions
Is my conversation uploaded anywhere?
The audio isn’t. Transcription runs on your device and the audio is discarded afterwards. For the minutes, only text — the transcript and your notes — goes to the minutes AI.
Does a bot have to join my meeting?
No. juunote captures the meeting app’s audio right on your computer. For everyone else, the meeting looks exactly as usual.
Do I need to tell the other participants?
Yes, please. Even though juunote stores no audio: if a conversation is being transcribed, let the people involved know — a sentence at the start is usually enough. Voice profiles of other people need their consent.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
The trial ends automatically and costs nothing. If you want to continue, book Basic or Pro in the admin area for as many users as you need — paid by card or SEPA direct debit. Larger teams can get a quote paid by invoice. Your minutes stay on your devices.
What’s the difference between Basic and Pro?
Basic covers minute-taking and shows meetings from the last 30 days — older ones are only hidden, never deleted. Pro adds unlimited history, sync between your devices, your own templates and the integrations.
On how many devices can I use juunote?
Up to five devices per account. Mac and Windows are available today; iPhone is coming.
Does juunote work with Google Workspace?
Yes. You can sign in and register your company with your company’s Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace account, in the app and in the admin area. Appointments, tasks to To Do and profile pictures currently come from Microsoft 365 only. Personal accounts such as gmail.com or outlook.com are not supported yet.
Which languages does juunote understand?
The local transcription recognises 99 languages. The app is available in German, with English coming soon.
Do I get an invoice for accounting?
Yes. Billing is monthly per company, with VAT shown and VAT ID checked.
